was happy that she attended the
Rotary Conference in Sacramento over the
weekend. She was really excited about
putting a hand together and meeting new
Rotary people from district 5160.
Caryn
is delighted about the Liberty Hotel
Restaurant opening soon.
Diana
and her husband Dave went to Ledson
Winery and Hotel in Sonoma and had a
wonderful time.
Barbara was just notified that
the Pittsburg teacher of the year is one
of three finalists for Teacher of the
Year.
Julie's
Contra Costa Interfaith Housing
has just added 2 teachers to their
staff.
Jim now has a 2nd pet rat that
his pet snake wouldn't eat.
Susan
is delighted to announce her Mom's lung
cancer is now in remission.
Announcements

Sandi and Julie
talked more about the Conference in
Sacramento over the weekend.
Sandi showed pictures of the
hand she put together and Julie
talked about how much you can get out of
going to a conference and urged everyone
to go to the next one. Caryn
agreed and said that when she went to a
conference it gave her a much better
perspective of the purpose of Rotary and
what it stands for.
Marlin suggested we encourage people in
China to join Rotary.
Sandi
reminded everyone that the Cookbook
deadline is nearing, so get your recipes
in as soon as possible. If you would
like to input your own recipes into the
cook book here are some easy

Ron said that all the
gifts he ordered came with
Pittsburg misspelled and it will be a
few weeks before we get them, so all
those entitled to a gift will get them
when they arrive.

Marlin's
beautiful little granddaughter Faith is
one of over 30,000 children and adults
in theUnited States who has a
life-threatening genetic disease called
cystic fibrosis (CF).
