Speaker
Van DePiero

Van spoke about his racing experiences.  Van and his family came to the United States from Italy when he was 6 years old.  Even at that early age he dreamed of being a racer.  He graduated in 1971 and got a job at Big O Tires.  He bought a Mustang and raced for about 1 and 1/2 years.  Having children ended his racing career but since he was able to take the children out on a boat he bought one and that was the start of his boating career.  In 1982 he went to Key West Florida and then started racing all over the U.S. And Canada.
