Jan 31 The Pittsburg Chamber Annual Installation Dinner will be held on Thursday, January 31, 6:00 pm at the Pittsburg Elks Lodge, 200 Marina Blvd., Pittsburg.  Our own Mike Stoiber is the "Business Person of the Year
Feb 5 Karel Nunnink who is  is personal trainer for James Carey will speak on fitness and healthy eating.
Feb  12 Valentine's Day luncheon for senior citizens will be held at the Stoneman Village
Feb 19 Mei-Ling McNamara has applied for and received a scholarship from Rotary International and will be studying in London.  She will share her experiences of a recent trip to the Himalya's, Vietnam, etc
Feb 26 Robin Garcia, the director of the DMV in Pittsburg will bring us all up to date on the changes in the vehicle code, both now and laws effective July 1. 
March 4 Club Assembly:  Fund raising ideas to be discussed and decided on.
March 11 Rick Hanson from the Clayton club.  He will be talking about success and goals
March 18 .David Naro from Rotary, will be speaking on the youth exchange program.

April 1 Our own Linda Brewer will be speaking on her exciting trip to China. (To be rescheduled for April 22.)
April 8 Pam Taylor and Martha Fisher will speak on Shelter Inc.
April 15 Frank Darling from the Orinda Rotary.  He will talk about the Guitars not Guns program they started in there club.  The Pittsburg Boys and Girls Club is a big supporter of his program.
April 22 Our own Linda Brewer will be speaking on her exciting trip to China.
April 24-26 Rotary District Conference in Sacramento
April 29 Marilyn, from the Cystic Fibrosis center will show us a video about the work she is involved in. 
May 6 Pam Taylor and Alicia went to Cuba on a church trip.  Will share there views and description of their time there.

May 13 Maria Partridge and Caryn Wegerbauer about the literacy program in Pittsburg

Ryan has just returned from his 3rd stint in the Middle East and received the Bronze Star.

July 22 Elizabeth Zitrin is the Ca. Death Penalty Abolition co-ordinator. 
July 29 Roberto Giannicola will talk about Green in the Workplace and at Home.
August 12 David Larwood is our speaker on Aug. 12th.  The title of his speech is, "Climb Every Mountain."  Not only recovering from polio but not letting the effects of the disease determine what you do, can do or want to do with your life.
